Me

A brief bio about me

I was born and grew up in Virginia then moved to Colorado when I was 18. There I met my future ex-girlfriend and current wife (same person), and would propose to her about 10 years later. Between moving to Colorado and my wedding I got my first B.S. degree in Biology and lived and worked in Hawaii, Virginia (again), Tennessee, and Rhode Island.

Some of my jobs during that time were as an intern in Hawaii working with endemic Hawaiian birds, a field technician working with migratory birds in Rhode Island, and a framer (picture frames) working at my grandmother's frame shop in Colorado.

After "settling down", my active duty wife and I moved to Japan for three years and then Germany for three years. While overseas, my wife diligently worked for the US military, and I found more jobs to do. I worked as an English teacher to Japanese students, a private music teacher, and a library technician as well as volunteering at our local church and veterinary clinic.

After moving to Germany, my wife and I had our first child and I became a full-time, stay-at-home dad (the best job I've had). During this time I also started my second B.S. degree in Computer Science, continued to volunteer at our local church and had a second child.

We finally moved back to the USA in 2021 with two kids, a second degree, and a whole lot of amazing experiences and friendships we made along the way.
